Kanoodle September 1, 2010 Denise Betz My 7&10 y.o. loved their friend's so I bought them their own! It is giving them hours of enjoyment even weeks after purchasing it. It is so compact they can bring it anywhere. They are enjoying the numerous challenges and have contests to see who can do a configuration the fastest.
GREAT game for all ages August 16, 2010 Running Gal (Stillwater, MN United States) This is a wonderful game and keeps my 6 year old and 8 year old engaged for hours. I have enjoyed helping the kids when they get stuck, it is fun to try and figure out the puzzle together. It is just the right size to pack along for car or plane rides or family vacations. Be careful not to lose the instructions, though, otherwise the game is useless.
Great supplement for vision therapy! August 5, 2010 E. Schulz (NJ) I got this yesterday for my 8 year old to help supplement her vision therapy. She's very reluctant to do things that require skill with visual perception, pattern recognition, etc, because she's not strong at it yet.... so her doc & I have been trying to find fun ways to covertly get her working on it at home. Voila! She is playing with it right now of her own volition! The lower levels are tough for her, but she enjoys it nonetheless - and there's increasing difficulty waiting for her when she masters this stuff.
It seems like a fun game as well, so I'm just delighted to have found something that targets just what we need to work on & is FUN too!
careful, it's addictive!! July 25, 2010 jennabug85 My mother-in-law brought this game with her when we went to visit my husband in Oklahoma. She always has such neat stuff so when she handed it to me I was quite excited! I ended up sitting crossed legged on the end of my hotel bed for nearly three hours playing game by game by game! When I got to the pyramid ones, I was even more happy! The only thing that sucks is if you do it too much, eventually you memorize the puzzles and can solve even the difficult ones very quickly. Still, before we left Oklahoma I had to get online and order myself one!!!
LOVIN THIS KANOODLE!! July 22, 2010 Marina's Mommy I bought this toy/puzzle at Math CAMT this year in San Antonio. I thought I might be able to bring it back to my 3rd and 4th grade students to play during their free time in class. Well, much to my surprise, I showed it to my 3 year old and she LOVED it. She has actually confiscated one of them and is keeping it as her own. I'm glad I bought 2 of them. The box says for grades 2 and up but younger kids can play with it if they are good at puzzles. This game is perfect for car trips, or home. I love the hard case that carries the pieces and instructions around. I just stash it in my purse and my daughter can pull it out when we are in the car, at a doctors office or restraunt. It is great fun and doesn't require batteries...I would recommend this game to EVERYONE!!! It is wonderful for all ages.
